The first group of pictures is from Cat-N-Around's October 7-8, 2006, show, held in conjunction with the North Central Regional Awards Banquet. The show's cage and ring decorations and rosettes reflected the "Casino Cats" theme.
The sponsor board, displayed prominently near the entrance to the show hall, honored donors whose support helped make the show a success.
The Lucky Cat Riverboat Casino won the cage decoration contest.
Harriet Seehusen posed with some of the rosettes she created after buying all the miniature card decks in Des Moines.

Theresa Buehler posed with the Jr. ACFA award competitors, all of whom were well-prepared.

The August 5-6, 2006, Coulee Region show included a cat costume contest. Jo Newton's "Miss Daisy" was the winning entry.

The A-cat-emy Awards were featured at the May 13-14, 2006, Cat Tales Cat Fanciers show, whose theme was "Hooray FUR Hollywood." Local public access television producer Lynn Redlinger was the judge, and Glen Newton hosted the ceremony. The first place winners were Kat Doring's "Blues Brothers."

The table decorations reflected the movie theme at Cat Tales 2006. The sponsor and ring rosettes echoed the tinsel and Oscar colors.

Yellow sock puppets posed in cardboard race cars at the April 1-2, 2006, Minn-kota Feline Club show, whose theme was "NASCATS."


The Easter Bunny made an early appearance at the Rock Valley Cat Club's "50 Purrfect Years" show, February 4-5, 2006.


Lunch break at the Gopher State Cat Club show April 23-24, 2005. North Central Regional Director Jim Nelson took a break from ring clerking as Heather Minter brought lunches to the judges and ring clerks, wearing a hat that reflected the show's "Catsablanca" theme.

Bev Speake and Wildfire dressed as members of the Red Hat Society for the costume contest at the Cat-N-Around Club's "Monster Magic" show, October 1-2, 2005.


At the Big Sioux Cat Fanciers show, October 29-30, 2005, James Mendenhall looked like a traditional courtroom judge.

Among the entries in the Halloween cat costume contest at Big Sioux 2005 were The Artist, The Tourist, and The Baby.

Dr. Osamu Yamamoto flew from Hiroshima to Wausau to judge in ring 1 at the Central Wisconsin show, March 19-20, 2005.
The Selkirk Rex breed section provided new rosettes that were awarded in the Selkirk Rex fun ring.
Meanwhile, in ring 3, Sue Sanderlin-Berry and Dan Lalley teamed up to fill in for Carol Barbee, who was unable to reach Wausau because of weather and airline mechanical problems.
